About the Study

The EuroPN Survey is a multinational, exploratory, non-interventional longitudinal cohort study.

The project “EuroPN Survey“, starting in the second quarter of 2019, will be the cornerstone of the European initiative, focussing on critically ill patients and their functional status after ICU discharge and 90 days later.

In approximately 100 study centres, healthcare professionals will collect data on the nutritional status of their patients as well
as caloric and protein intake during their ICU stay.

Caloric and protein balance will be evaluated and related to clinical outcomes, with a particular focus on measures of physical function.

The collected data will reveal insights into the current practice of nutritional therapy in critically ill patients and provide
guidance to improve the quality of care.
